We must help illegal immigrants, and bring them to Christ, in order to fulfill the 'Great Commission.'
We are called to leave our houses and go to poor countries preaching the gospel-but we don't feel like it, so finally God is bringing foreigners into our own country, to our doorsteps, but we still don't feel like helping them-the pastors are telling them to "Get the hell out of our country … and take your children with you".
There is to be a great revival in the USA; Mexicans and other immigrants are to be helped by the church and come to true salvation … but it isn't happening.
Decades ago, while attending an English/Spanish bible study; I learned that Pentecostals were helping illegals, and they started attending the churches. When foreigners come to this country and become saved, some of them become bible teachers, some pastors, and some become missionaries.
Christians have a calling to spend all our money helping to spread the gospel. Who cares if we ruin our lives doing God's work? We must do God's work.
Some think "A fool and his money are soon parted" is a true statement; Actually, just the opposite is true, 'A wise man and his money are soon parted.'
Under the Old Covenant, 'If you are faithful (to God) you will be wealthy.
Under the New Covenant, If you are faithful (to God) you will become poor.
Good news: "I know your tribulation and poverty, (but thou art rich) Rev 2: 9
We are rich in the Lord if we give our money away. In Matt 6: 24 Jesus said:
"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."
The biggest thrill one can have is to sell his house and money in the bank, and give it all to missionaries, and then go to work the next day saying: 'I can't believe God used me to get my money into missions work.'
God is using atheists to bring the immigrants to the USA to start a big revival of Spanish-speaking families in this country, but the church turns its back on them all.
